and Quantities
Meridian are highly experienced with calculating earthwork quantities on a variety of projects varying from housing projects, large flood alleviation projects and major roadworks to name a few.
1. These can be used for estimating purposes.
2. On going quantities during a project that also can include the quantities remaining and percentage completed to date.
3. Agreeing sub contractors earthworks quantities.
4. Cross sections produced showing the various levels required eg existing and finished levels.
The company uses specialist software to accurately calculate the necessary cut/fill material quantities required at a given site.
On larger projects, Meridian Land Surveys can provide the client with an overall cost for a full package combing setting station control, Original Ground Level (OGL) surveys, setting out of works and producing earthworks quantities as we have done on various major Civil Engineering projects.
Both 3D visualizations and videos can be created displaying the various aspects of the areas surveyed giving the client a more accurate picture of the overall site.
